Her background affords her a particular understanding of the social aspects of the law, having studied Sociology and Psychology as her first degree at Leicester University and then going on to obtain a postgraduate qualification in Social Work from Liverpool University. She has also been a part-time lecturer for the Open University.
Susan now specialises in education and criminal law.Paul Roach/Assistant SolicitorPaul Roach graduated in law from University of East London (NELP) in 1989 and qualified as a solicitor in 1992 after studying for the Solicitors’ Final Examination at The College of Law, Lancaster Gate, London.
Paul is a Solicitor-Advocate, with Higher-Rights-of-Audience. An experienced advocate, he represents clients in the Courts of England and Wales.
He has experience in a number of different areas of law and regulation, but after training in civil areas of law, he chose to specialise in criminal law and has wide experience both as a prosecution lawyer and defence lawyer, having prosecuted for a number of government bodies.
He has defended those charged with the most serious offences — multiple murders, rape, robbery, kidnap, hijack and arson. He has also advised in many fiscal cases; including tax cases, offences of fraud and dishonesty.
